Though I arrived late, Ellie and Sarah made the check-in seamless with warm hospitality, ensuring I felt right at home immediately. The spacious room was a delight, complete with a luxurious whirlpool bath, providing a perfect respite after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The on-site restaurant truly impressed with its delicious à la carte breakfast and evening meals; I particularly savored the local ales, which were a refreshing touch. The outdoor swimming pool area offered a lovely spot to unwind, and the serene ambiance allowed for a peaceful escape that resonated with me as a travel consultant deeply devoted to relaxation and exploration. With a prime location for walks through the scenic countryside, I would gladly recommend the Poachers Inn to families and solo travelers alike looking for an ideal base to explore the lovely local area.
